1 Peter is accepted as a book written by Peter, the apostle of Jesus.
It is a very Trinitarian book, referring to the Father, Son and Spirit all acting closely in concert (1:2,3,11,12,17,21) and coexisting.
It shows each Person acting in history for our salvation, our present protection, our future.
Our present trials are used by God to shape our faith, our testimony at the second coming of Christ.
Do not flirt with things that breakdown the mind.
The glory that we will share with Christ, was foretold as was our various trials. Behave like a holy people, as someone who has been born again.
Love one another sincerely.
